Silly and unclear? Recognize VR and AR
Speaking of the current popular VR, many friends may not be unfamiliar, but AR may not be understood by many people. VR (Virtual Reality) is a popular virtual technology. It uses computer simulation to generate a virtual world in three-dimensional space, providing users with simulations of visual, auditory, tactile and other senses, so that users can have Real virtual reality feeling. Augmented Reality? How does AR get a better gaming experience?
As mentioned above, AR is an augmented reality that can achieve a more realistic reality and better interaction than VR. So how is this enhanced virtual reality effect achieved? Take Nintendo's release of the AR game Pokemon Go as an example.
First of all, let's take a look at the basic gameplay of this game. According to the game introduction, after opening the game on the mobile phone and opening Google Maps and positioning function, the game will superimpose Pikachu, Jenny Turtle and other elves in the real-time camera. These elves may be hidden in any corner of the current map, and the player needs to walk around with the phone, find it and grab it. In this AR game, the developer superimposed the virtual game elements Pikachu, Jenny Turtle and other elves into the real geographical location, allowing players to find virtual game characters in the real environment, greatly enhancing the game fun (Figure 2) .

From its technical means and manifestations, AR can be roughly divided into two categories. One is LBS based AR, which is AR based on geographical location information. The second is Vision based AR, which is based on computer vision.
The Pokemon Go game belongs to the former. When we turn on the GPS on the mobile phone, the game will obtain the user's geographic location through GPS, and then obtain the POI information (including name, category, longitude latitude, near the user's current location) according to the information provided by Google Maps. Information about nearby hotels, restaurants, shops, etc.). After obtaining this information, the Pokemon Go server will superimpose the virtual sprite in the game to a certain corner of the current location. Another computer-based AR, which uses computer vision to establish a mapping between the real world and the screen, so that the graphics or 3D models we want to draw can be displayed on the screen as if they were attached to a real object. Its principle is similar to that of the former, and it also superimposes the virtual characters seamlessly into the current actual position. For example, Li Yuchun performed "蜀绣" in the Spring Festival Evening of the Year of the Sheep, and Li Yuchun appeared on the stage at the same time. One of them is the virtual Li Yuchun. The producers performed the same performance with the real Li Yuchun through AR technology, almost reaching the point of realism. "蜀绣" is actually a form of AR based on computer vision (Figure 4).

Through the above description, we recognize the outstanding performance of AR in the field of games and performances. In fact, not only in these areas, with the continuous development of AR technology, AR can be used to serve us in many aspects of life. As a new generation of human-computer interaction, AR has also been applied to many fields.
For example, in the field of tourism, AR can combine tourist attractions maps with tourists.
