"DEXED" lets you start a dreamy battle of ice and fire
Ninja Theory is a game development studio based in Cambridge, England. It has developed "Hell Blade", "Kung Fu Fight" and PS3 game "Sword". "DEXED" is the first VR work brought by Ninja Theory. "DEXED" is a three-month VR fantasy shooting game made by an internal development team composed of 8 people. The game is inspired by the classic game "Iron Armor" and the arcade game "Spotted Dragon" of Sega Saturn. The game is now on the Steam platform and supports HTC Vive for $36.
The gameplay of "DEXED" is also very simple. In the game you will be in 5 different fantasy scenes and start a battle of ice with the enemy. One of the two Vive controllers you hold can fire an ice bomb while the other fires a fire. Ice can extinguish fires, and fire can also kill ice. You need to launch an ice or fire bomb based on the nature of the enemy. In addition, you can aim at multiple targets at once and then launch a chain of shells at the enemy. Shield defense can be used when you encounter enemy attacks. The game sets up three difficulty levels: Simple/Medium/Difficult for you to challenge. If you are strong enough, you can fight against the Big Boss at the last level. Of course, this single-player game also has a global leaderboard that allows you to compete with your friends.
It is currently unclear whether DEXED will support Oculus Rift and PlayStation VR in the future.
