1. Put the test sample at room temperature in a low-temperature test chamber at room temperature in a normal position or other specified position in a state of no packaging, no power, and "ready to use". When the test sample is actually used with a specific mounting bracket, these devices should be used for testing together. The temperature measurement of the test chamber shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of 4.4 in GB / T 2421-1999.
2. Adjust the temperature of the low-temperature test chamber to a temperature value that meets the severity level, and have enough time for the sample to reach temperature stability (for the definition of temperature stability, see 4.8 of GB / T 2422-1995),
3. For functional tests, the test samples must be energized or subjected to electrical loads in accordance with the relevant specifications, and checked to determine whether they can achieve the specified functions.
If required by the relevant specifications, the test sample shall be in operation according to its specified working cycle and load conditions (if feasible), or shall not be energized. Note: At this time, the test sample is in operation or under load, as long as the surface temperature does not exceed the surrounding atmospheric temperature by 5K, it is considered to be non-radiating
4. The duration of exposure of test samples under low temperature conditions shall be specified by the relevant specifications. (The duration is calculated from when the temperature reaches stability) Note: For some small test samples, it is not necessary to check whether they have reached temperature stability by measuring f, see 4.8 Note 2j of GB / T 2421-1999
5. If relevant regulations require intermediate testing, it can be operated according to Chapter 8 of the GB2423-1 standard.
6. At the end of the conditional test, the test sample should be restored to its original state. For the test sample with energized operation or electrical load, the power should be stopped or the load should be removed before the recovery procedure.
