Recently, the School of Chemical Engineering of Dalian University of Technology has successfully developed a new type of anti-oxidation flame retardant—aromatic cyclic phosphate ester with excellent anti-oxidation, flame-retardant and non-toxic environmental protection.
Antioxidant flame retardants are widely used and can be used in the production of various plastics, fibers and other products. At present, most of the antioxidant flame retardants used in China are halogen-containing compounds, and most of them are additive types. On the one hand, their application effects are poor, and on the other hand, they are likely to cause environmental pollution. The aromatic cyclic phosphate esters successfully developed by the school not only have excellent oxygen resistance and flame retardant properties, but also the gases generated by combustion are non-toxic. It has high temperature resistance, and it is also a reactive and mixed additive. When it is copolymerized, it contains almost no ether bond. Adding it to the polyester fiber does not act as a bridge, giving the product excellent flame retardancy. . Adding to plastic does not impair the properties of the original resin. Due to the good compatibility with plastics, plastics with good flame retardancy, oxidation resistance and transparency can be obtained.
According to reports, this new type of anti-oxidation flame retardant has a broad market at home and abroad. In the course of its production, a series of fine chemical intermediates such as antioxidants, lubricating oil flame retardants, and high-grade flame-retardant adhesives for electrical appliances can also be obtained at the same time, and considerable economic benefits can be obtained.
