A new light stabilizer mixture can provide permanent protection for polyethylene films and molded products that come into contact with chemicals. Its application targets are LDPE, LLDPE, and EVA, particularly agricultural films. Licovin N91 produced by American company Clariant (Chanlotte, NC) is based on an oligomeric HALS, and Hostavin N30 is less chemosensitive than other HALS. In combination with the Hostanox 016 phenolic antioxidant and the Hostanox PAR24 phosphite, the highest transparency of the greenhouse film can be retained.
