In recent years, the spandex industry has developed rapidly, and its output has doubled. At the same time, a large amount of waste was generated in the production and use of spandex. Therefore, the recycling of spandex waste has become an urgent problem to be solved. These wastes can be treated by burying and incineration, but this not only wastes a lot of chemical raw materials, but also causes land waste and air pollution, which is not in line with the Earth's sustainable development strategy. If these wastes can be recycled and reused, it will produce significant social benefits and have very important economic value. The current chemical recovery methods include thermal cracking, hydrolysis, alkaline hydrolysis, etc., but it has not received attention because of its complicated process and the difficulty of product separation. There is also information on the alcoholysis method, but the degraded polyurethane waste is mostly polyurethane foam, elastomer, etc. Studies on the recycling of polyurethane fiber waste using alcoholysis agents have not been reported. ?
The achievements of this project provide a process method with simple operation, short process flow and high recovery rate for the recycling of polyurethane fiber waste. The degradation products of polyurethane fiber waste can be reacted with isocyanate and chain extender after separation and purification, and the resulting polyurethane products can be used as coatings, films, foams, fibers and so on. This project is supported by Donghua University's doctoral dissertation innovation project, and has applied for a national invention patent (application number .3)?
