Electronic ink display media requires screen printing. The electronic ink microcapsule color particles are suspended and dispersed in a liquid medium to form ink in the usual sense, and then screen printed on plastics, fabrics, glass, paper and other substrates to form information display media. Then, a layer of adhesive is applied to the display media and rolled with a roller, so that the display media is evenly adhered to the bottom plate to form a front roller compacted plate with electronic ink. The backplane has a high-resolution display array whose circuitry is controlled by the display software to form graphics composed of pixels.
The range and application of some substrates for electronic ink and screen printing are the same. Electronic inks have a wide range of substrates and can be printed on curved surfaces. Electronic ink is very easy to print, can be applied to new types of displays/electronic displays, large display panels and billboards; can be used for display panels of mobile phones, machines, instruments; can be applied to public places announcements, billboards, outdoor billboard. I believe that with the development of technology, electronic ink will soon be available for printed circuits.
