As an outdoor brand with environmental protection as its mission, it has the responsibility and obligation to make a due diligence for our current increasingly serious outdoor environmental issues.

In 2016, VAUDE initiated the outdoor environmental protection campaign “Scaring Mountains”. Through the power of the brand, it hoped that joint international organizations and domestic organizations would jointly promote the concept of environmental protection and join hands with outdoor enthusiasts to take practical actions to clean the mountains. Through the power of the brand, people throughout the community are called on to care for the environment, to be green and outdoor, and to clean nature.

On February 16, 2017, BEIJING ISPO 2017, VAUDE made a report on the outdoor environmental protection activities in 2016, and communicated with the outdoor enthusiasts on the spot. At the sharing session, senior domestic outdoor coaches and LNT high-level lecturer beard teacher shared outdoor environmental promotion skills and experience for the majority of fans. Bai Ling, deputy secretary-general of Guangzhou Deng Association, shared the clean mountain action experience. The enthusiasts at the scene reacted enthusiastically.

In 2016, VAUDE United leaders, Green Ants, Guangzhou Dengxie and other organizations jointly promote the outdoor environmental protection activities of “Scarless Mountains”. Sponsored the launch of the "Leave No Trace" high-level lecturer class 2, 28 preliminary lecturer classes, 30 workshops, and radiating to 18 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across the country. Cooperating with green ant “waterfowl”, Guangzhou Dengxie “Qingfeng Xia”, leader climbing “mountain guards” and other mountain cleansing operations. The campaign has achieved very good publicity and promotion results, allowing more people to pay attention to outdoor environmental protection and understanding outdoor environmental protection. At the same time, it has also cultivated a number of backbone forces to promote outdoor environmental protection, so that the concept of outdoor environmental protection is sparkling.
