Transparent grade styrene-butadiene copolymer

A styrene-butadiene copolymer with a certain degree of toughness and high transparency (resin grade Styrolux) was successfully developed by BASF. Among them, Styrolux 3G 33 copolymer has the same transparent properties as vinyl, acrylic and some polycarbonate resins. It can be shaped into household utensils, toys, medical and household cosmetics containers, and office equipment, especially the production of thick enamel parts. Allegedly, compared with other Styrolux grades, the new products have high flow properties and can shorten the molding cycle.
