The print head is an important and vulnerable part of the printer and is a consumable item. In order to ensure the normal service life of the print head, it is recommended:
1. Clean the printer every 1,000 cards printed, or every ribbon change.
2. Make sure the card surface is clean. The static electricity between the cards will attract dust particles and floating objects, which not only affects the printing effect but also may damage the print head. In this case, it is recommended to wipe with non-woven cloth and alcohol, and print after it has evaporated.
3. Ensure that the card surface is a mirror card. Strictly speaking, the best way to print an IC card or RF card is to use a re-transfer card printer. This will ensure perfect printing results without damaging the print head. Because the chips packaged in these cards make the location of the chip not horizontal with other places, such as using a direct-printing printer, there are many problems. Or it can only be printed on the adhesive card, and then pasted on the surface of the IC and RF card.
Phenomenon: The long edge of the card is dissatisfied and the lines are irregular.
Cause: The print head is off.

This customer chooses half-frame ribbons, and half-frame ribbons can only print or left or right half of the color. The color part of this layout exceeds half the size of the card, so a full-frame ribbon is needed.
Half-ribbon ribbons can effectively reduce costs, but please consult professional sales staff for details when selecting.
Phenomenon: If you print a picture on a white background, three-fifths of the format will be light red
