Children's toys exported to Saudi Arabia must comply with G-mark technical regulations
Recently, the Saudi Arabian Standards Organization (SASO) announced the enforcement of the G-mark toy technical regulations, which covers all live and non-charged children's toys. From March 18, 2018, CoC certificates will no longer be issued for toy goods that do not comply with G-mark technical regulations.
In order to ensure the safety and quality of imported toy products and strengthen toy safety supervision, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has formed a unanimous resolution: the products of toy manufacturers and importers must comply with the Gulf Toy Technical Regulations (BD-131704-01) and pass the Gulf The GCC ’s conformity assessment procedure and the seal marked with the letter “G†(G-Mark) are allowed in the Gulf member states (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Sultanate of Oman, Bahrain) Kingdom, Yemen) import, circulation and trading.
