Blowing costs reduced by up to 20%
Three years ago, Sidel began researching and developing new plastic bottle manufacturing solutions. The goal is not only to aim at the top performance and reliability of the bottle blowing machine, but also to develop a comprehensive "bottled solution" development plan for high speed applications. Today, the new generation of Sidel blow moulding machines has finally made its debut at this year's international trade fair.
Compared to its SBOSeries2 equipment, Sidel reduced the blowing costs of PET bottles by up to 20%. From this plastic bottle can be produced at extremely high speeds and specifications of 0.25 to 3 liters. At its booth, Sidel will showcase eight molds that embody its latest packaging innovations, which will produce even lighter, new-style, patented plastic bottles.
Instantaneous changeovers and maintenance <br> <br> At the same time, by blowing machine uptime, Sidel has entered a new world of technology. Compared with the Series 2 series, the streamlined design of the new model reduced the bottle conversion time by 20%.
In today's market, just-in-time production, shorter production cycles, greater output and diversified specifications, and more complex packaging are all in the offing; these new generations of models are just born under such market changes. In addition to speeding up the conversion, the time required to maintain a new generation of blow molding machines has dropped by 25%, further extending machine uptime.
Complete set of filling solutions
The eight filling technologies that Sidel will demonstrate represent the most comprehensive solution for all liquid foods in the industry. The new FMw flowmeter filler will be equipped with 50 flushing nozzles, 60 filling valves and 15 glands to meet the strictest hygienic standards for pure water packaging.
GW Gravity Filler is designed for the filling of oils and sauces. The filling technology used is extremely precise. It can ensure that the deviation to the standard is less than 0.5 grams. The model will be equipped with 30 filling valves and 10 One gland head.
High-speed shrink film packaging machine
Sidel will exhibit two high-speed shrinkwrappers without closures: the TSEvolution 3 shrinkwrapper without a cut-off, which has an output rate of up to 60,000 bottles per hour; it is a soft drink, beer, mineral water and cans. Ideal for markets such as beverages and food.
The stainless steel TSi shrinkwrapper without seals is designed for drink boxes and vials. Even in the 2x2 format, its output rate can reach 24,000 to 36,000 bottles per hour.
Remote service <br> <br> to maximize the productivity of the packaging line and machine run time, Sidel will unveil its latest remote service, it is designed for analysis equipment, designed to start and run. These services complement Sidel's EIT (Efficiency Improvement Tool) software, which diagnoses and analyzes equipment production and performance to help maximize the effectiveness of the entire packaging line.
