Japan's Matsumoto recently developed a luminous printing technology and began to push it into the community.
This luminous print can emit light in a completely dark environment for 12 hours as long as it is exposed to light for 10 minutes. This is because the printing ink is mixed with a light-storing varnish. The cost of luminous printing is about 20% higher than that of normal four-color printing. However, from the market survey, there is a large demand, so it is estimated that there will be about 300,000 orders in the first year.
