Our factory has a J2108 offset press produced in 1987. Recently, when it was used to print whiteboard paper, the horizontal overprint was not allowed. We have carefully checked and adjusted the relevant aspects of the machine as required, but the effect is not great.
After careful inspection, it was found that the paper feeding tooth pad had a serious sinking action at the front gauge, which caused the white board paper to be pressed in the notch of the table and the pull tab could not be moved and could not work. We re-adjusted it so that the tooth pad sinks to the lowest point when the front gauge meets the paper, and adjusts its gap with the tooth base. The results have not improved. Later, I suspect that the misalignment of the eccentric sleeve on the paper-handling tooth row resulted in a serious lag in the position of the eccentric sleeve. So we pull out the pinion gear and the positioning pin of the eccentric sleeve, loosen the three fastening screws and adjust the position of the eccentric sleeve. Then check the boot, tooth pad sinking action is gone. Finally, punch and position again, and then start printing, overprinting accuracy, troubleshooting.
